About the Event

The IPL Auction Game is a structured and interactive simulation of the real Indian Premier League (IPL) auction process. The event gives participants hands-on experience in strategic bidding, team formation, and budget management, while testing their decision-making, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Designed to mirror the excitement and pressure of an actual IPL auction, this event challenges participants to build a balanced squad within a fixed budget at E-Summit 2026.

Event Structure

  • The game consists of multiple sessions, with 10 teams participating in each session.
  • Every session features an auction pool of 80 players.
  • Teams must build a squad of 6 players within the allotted budget of virtual points.

Squad Composition

  • 2 Batters (including 1 Wicketkeeper)
  • 2 Bowlers
  • 2 All-rounders
  • Team names are allotted through an on-spot lucky draw.

Participation Details

  • Open to all students from any discipline.
  • Teams can have a maximum of 4 members.
  • Entry fees remain ₹200 per team irrespective of team size.
  • Online registration is mandatory for participation.
  • All teams must strictly follow event rules and guidelines shared before the auction.
